Art Exhibition

SPATIAL DESIGN / VISUAL IDENTITY

"The exhibition's surrealistic and sexual origin as well as the sensuality and material choices, was to be reflected in the identity, although it should not reveal too much. Andrea and Casper managed with simple icons to illustrate both the content and the tactility of the exhibition. With the eye as a motive they created a perfect sneak peek into the universe we had created. The identity was furthermore distinguished by being a scenographic element that created an extra spatial dimension due to the color choice and it’s effect. The visual choices worked excellently in conjunction with the exhibition."

THE ASSIGNMENT

Glasyr was asked to create an identity for the exhibition that provoked interest without revealing the exhibition content, further more the identity should be able to be unfolded at the gallery amongst the art.

THE SOLUTION

With a strong color and symbol Glasyr created an exhibition identity that merged and contributed to the scenography and lighting of the exhibition experience. Inspired by the voyeur the blue foil eye functioned as a peephole to the mysterious and surreal exhibition.
